Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos
Only 5 ingredients are needed to make these Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos–jalapeno peppers, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and bacon bits all come together to make a tasty treat.
Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos is a super easy recipe and comes together fast for a treat or snack any time of the week. I made these as a side dish to our Creamy Pasta Bake we had last night. They were incredibly flavorful, with just a hint of spiciness.
When we go out to eat, and jalapeno poppers are on the menu, we order them. They are tasty, spicy, and so cheesy. We can’t seem to get enough of them. I’m so glad my family likes spicy as much as I do. 🙂
Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos make a perfect party appetizer or a side dish, and they are easy to make. Let’s not forget about football season and tailgating.
**I boiled my hot peppers for a few minutes to make them soft before I baked them. You don’t have to do this step, and they will be completely fine, but boiling them seems to take away some of the heat, and they do cook a little faster. If you don’t boil them, you will need to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.

How to make Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos
Only 5 Ingredients are needed to make these peppers.
10 medium jalapeno peppers
1/2 package (4ounces), cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 package (3ounces) bacon bits
**When cutting hot peppers it is best to wear gloves. I keep a box of disposable gloves on hand for just this reason.
*Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and membranes. In a large saucepan, boil the peppers –in enough water to cover –for about 10 minutes. This will soften the peppers and also take away some of the heat. Try your best NOT to lean over the pot and breathe in the steam. Take it from me; it will take your breath! Drain and rinse in cold water. Set aside.
**In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir in bacon bits. Mix well.
***Spoon a heaping tablespoon into each jalapeno half.
****Place on a greased baking sheet and Bake at 400 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve warm.
See–that was easy! Now, what are you waiting for? Make some for your next gathering or just make some for you! Enjoy!
