How do you eat Pimento Cheese?
Pimento Cheese can be eaten as a dip with crackers, and it is fabulous! But, you can certainly eat it on a sandwich. The south is known for its pimento cheese sandwiches. Just spread it between two slices of bread, add a little mayo, and enjoy! 🙂 Try it sometime-you will be so glad you did!
Pimento cheese sandwiches are served at wedding showers, baby showers, and parties. To make them fancy–just cut the crust off, and cut into fourths — instant party food. For children, use your cookie cutter and cut out fun shapes.
If you are looking for a warm sandwich- try making a grilled pimento cheese sandwich. You can either toast your bread or make your sandwich, warm it in a skillet or place on a Panini Press. Be sure to try my chicken salad for a different sandwich option. It is also served at parties and showers, as well.
Not a sandwich fan–that’s okay–try it on top of celery, burgers, and grits. Just about anything you would put cheese on–pimento cheese will definitely kick it up a few notches.
In my opinion, pimento cheese gets better each day. Of course, I like to eat it the same day I make it, but it is even better the next day. You can make this as thick and creamy as you like and as spicy as you like. Add more wing sauce or jalapenos to your liking. Feeling brave–add some cayenne pepper. 😮
This Southern Homemade Pimento Cheese is easy to make and quite delicious. Try it for your next party, get together, or as a different sandwich option. The ways to eat it are endless. Let me know in the comments how you like to eat your pimento cheese.
