Broiled Spicy Party Shrimp

Broiled Spicy Party Shrimp only takes 8 minutes to cook. This will be a hit at your next party. Fresh shrimp are marinated in a mixture of Italian dressing, garlic, oil, and seasonings. They are broiled for only 8 minutes! You might want to make a double batch because these will go fast!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds shrimp medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 package Italian Dressing Mix dry mix
  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper adjust the heat as desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • cocktail sauce

Instructions

  • Peel shrimp and add shrimp to a gallon-sized zip-top bag.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together dry Italian dressing, oil, garlic, cayenne pepper, and lemon pepper until all is combined. Pour over the shrimp. Toss to coat well. Place in the refrigerator and let marinate for 2-4 hours.
  • Set oven to broil.
  • Arrange shrimp on a foil-lined baking sheet in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches or 2 pans at a time. Discard Marinade.
  • Place pan in the oven on the top rack and broil for about 4 minutes. Take out of the oven and flip the shrimp. Place back into the oven and broil for 3-4 more minutes. Watch Closely!
  • Serve on a platter. Add toothpicks for easy serving. Serve cocktail sauce to the side.

Notes

When broiling, watch closely!! You do not want to burn your food. I always keep my oven door slightly open to watch the food on the top rack.
