Ingredients
4-6Bone-In Pork Chops
2TablespoonsButter
9 oz. packageYellow Rice
1envelopeOnion Soup Mix
4 oz.canMushroomssliced
3cupsHot Water
Instructions
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and brown for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet.
Spray the bottom of a 13" x 9" casserole dish.
Spread rice over the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
Sprinkle soup mix over the rice.
Drain Mushrooms and spread evenly over the top of the rice.
Add 3 cups of hot water to the dish.
Arrange pork chops on top of the rice and water. Nestle chops down into the water a bit, covering slightly.
Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes.
