Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos is a super easy recipe and comes together fast for a treat or snack any time of the week. They are tasty, spicy, and cheesy!

Ingredients

  • 20 medium jalapeno peppers
  • 1 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3-4 slices Bacon, cooked You can use 2 tablespoons of bacon bits for convenience

Instructions

  • ***When cutting hot peppers, it is best to wear gloves.
  • Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire Sauce. Using a hand mixer or the back of a large spoon, blend the ingredients until smooth and well incorporated. Add the bacon and mix well.
  • Using a small spoon, stuff each jalapeƱo half with the rich cream cheese mixture. Be generous with the filling mixture and distribute it evenly.
  • Bake the stuffed jalapenos on a greased baking sheet or parchment paper lined baking sheet. Place the peppers in a single layer and bake until the tops are golden brown. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve warm.

Notes

It is important to wear gloves when slicing jalapeno peppers. Jalapenos can irritate and burn the skin, and caution should be exercised when preparing the jalapenos. Do not rub your eyes, mouth, or face while slicing the peppers or while wearing the gloves after touching the peppers.
