Jalapeno Popper Dip with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 2 8oz. cream cheese room temp.
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup fresh jalapenos diced and seeded
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese Mexican blend or cheese of choice
  • 1 teaspoon each garlic powder & pepper
  • 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers crushed, (or any buttery cracker)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with non stick spray. Set aside.
  • Fry and crumble bacon. Set aside.
  • Place the cream cheese and sour cream in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth and well blended.
  • Add jalapenos, cheese, seasonings, and bacon. Mix well. Transfer to a prepared casserole dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine Ritz cracker and butter. Stir well to combine. Sprinkle over the top of the dip.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
