This French Onion Chicken Bake is one delicious dish! Only a few simple ingredients and a huge taste. Baked chicken covered in French onion dip, shredded cheese, and topped with crispy onions.
16ouncesFrench Onion Dipfound in the refrigerated section-sour cream based
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
2.8oz. canCrispy French Fried Onions
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8" x 11" baking dish with nonstick spray or line the dish with foil and spray the foil.
Place chicken tenders in a baking dish touching. Sprinkle with garlic powder and lemon pepper.
In a small bowl, mix the French Onion Dip with 1 cup of cheese.
Spread the dip mixture over the top of the chicken tenders.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove chicken from the oven and top with crispy fried onions. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Pro Tips:
Place Close Together: Place your chicken close together while cooking. This keeps all of the toppings from escaping and ending up at the bottom of your dish.
Line Dish: Line your baking dish with foil for a mess-free cleanup—especially handy on busy nights!
Check Temperature: Baked chicken tenders are done when the internal temperature reaches 165-170 degrees. Always cut into your chicken, and if the juices run clear, your chicken is done. If you are unsure, use a meat thermometer.
French Onion Dip: Only use the refrigerated French Onion Dip. The French onion dip in the chip aisle will NOT work. I used a store brand, and it worked great.
