There are so many beautiful ways to decorate your home for the fall. My favorite place to decorate is the mantel. The mantel is always the first thing that catches my eye; in most homes, they are the focal point in that room.

There are endless possibilities for decorating a mantel. You can go from fancy to farmhouse, from Halloween to Thanksgiving, and from Thanksgiving to Christmas with just a few photos, wreaths, baskets, and candles swapped out with each changing season.

I just spent the weekend with my sister; she had the cutest mantel. (We have similar tastes when it comes to decorating). She definitely had the fall theme going on not just with her mantel but also in a few other places as well.

She has beautiful blue walls throughout her home. These walls are a perfect background canvas for bringing in bright colors for each season. My sister used the traditional fall colors for her mantel: orange, brown, and beige. The burlap banner “BOO” set off her Halloween theme.
