Today I am sharing with you an Easy and Cheesy Broccoli and Rice Casserole that will have your family begging for you to make it time and time again.
This Broccoli and Rice Casserole is delicious and makes enough for a crowd. This is a great recipe if you’re having a family gathering, church social or just a weeknight side dish.
This is yummy and cheesy and just pure comfort deliciousness! I am not even going to tell you how many helpings I always eat of this stuff!! It is so good!! This recipe is always a huge hit with my family and I am sure your family will love it as well.
I mix everything together in one skillet and then dump it in a baking dish. This takes about 30 minutes in the oven.
This goes great with just about anything you serve it with–chicken, pork, beef… or just to eat by itself.
32-ounce package frozen broccoli
1 large onion, chopped
1 stick butter
1 16 ounce jar Cheez Whiz
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
2 10 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
Cook broccoli according to package directions. Set aside.
Cook rice according to package directions. Set aside.
Saute onion in butter in a saucepan.
Add Cheez Whiz and cook until cheese melts.
Add broccoli, rice, soup, and milk; mix well.
Spoon into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes longer.
