Farm Day Friday | April on the Farm
Farm Day Friday is a fun page where I post pictures of animals, events, activities, and happenings on our farm. This is just a page for me to share pictures, tips, ideas, and fun times with you. Welcome to my Home at Cedar Springs Farm!
These past few weeks have been a change from our normal day to day activities. Things are going on in this world, and times right now are uncertain times we are having to deal with daily. Many of us are finding we are at home, and our “normal lifestyles” have changed drastically.
Here are some pictures of things going on this past week on the farm. I hope this change is a good change for you at home and you are making the best of the circumstances. I know we are!
New Calves on the Farm
We had 5 new calves born this month! Baby calves are precious when they are small.
Planting A Garden
April has been a busy month for us. We have started our garden with seeds and plants. The weather has been great with lots of sunshine and warm days. Things are growing nicely. Be sure to check out my post on Planting a Garden. I share some tips to get you started.
Taking Daily Walks
Getting out of the house is very important to us. We live in the country and are very fortunate to be able to get out and take daily walks. The sunshine and the fresh air are fabulous and can do wonders for your mood.
Make the best of this “lifestyle change” we are facing at the moment. Sometimes change is not a bad thing.
Here are some more Farm Day Friday post if you would like to check them out.

Vegetables to Grow in Your Garden
I miss seeing the going one on a farm. When I was growing up in Poland I would spend summers at my grandma’s house in the country and have super fond memories. I especially loved getting fresh milk right after milking. It smelled grassy and was still warm. Nothing from the store compares!
Baby calves are adorable. My sister has a farm in TN and my kids love spending time there. It’s such a great getaway for all of us. You have a beautiful space to spend time outdoors and get some fresh air. Thanks for sharing the view.
I was so happy to stumble on this post today. There are so many miracles happening daily in this new normal. Life goes on. Thanks for the reminder and sharing your gorgeous farm with us.
Thanks for stopping by! We have learned to adjust to a new “normal” with everything going on. I notice the small things now. 🙂
Enjoyed the photos and stories about your farm day. I also looked over your garden topics. Beautifully designed blog.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Beautiful post! I especially love the pics of the calves. Please keep sharing them as they grow!
Thank you! I seem to make pictures everyday of the cows/calves. My camera roll is getting full. I just can’t seem to help myself. 🙂
