Sausage Ball Recipe with Bisquick
If you need an easy appetizer that disappears fast, this Sausage Ball Recipe with Bisquick is it. Made with just 4 simple ingredients, they’re cheesy, savory, and perfect for everything from holiday mornings to game day parties. I’ve been making this recipe for years, and it never fails to be the first thing gone.

Sausage Balls have been around for as long as I can remember. It is rare for me to go to a party and not see sausage balls or a meatball appetizer recipe on a table. I carried these little bites of goodness to a party last week, and they disappeared within minutes. They are certainly a classic party treat, just like my Cheese Ball Bites Recipe.

🛒 Ingredients Needed

Ground Sausage: You’ll need one pound of breakfast sausage for this recipe. Use hot for an extra kick or mild for a more family-friendly version.
Cream Cheese: This keeps the sausage balls moist and adds a creamy texture. You’ll need room temperature cream cheese for easy mixing.
Cheddar Cheese: Cheddar adds more flavor and helps create a golden crust. You might also use Colby or Pepper Jack cheese. I like to use freshly grated cheese. It melts better and gives a smoother texture.
Bisquick Baking Mix: Bisquick helps to bind everything together and gives these simple sausage balls their classic structure.
