With just a few simple ingredients, you’ll be well on your way to having a delicious dinner for your family. All of the ingredients are easily found in your local grocery store. For a complete list of ingredients and amounts, please see the printable recipe card below.

Chicken—I have used chicken tenders and chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces for this recipe. I use whatever I have in my freezer and what I might find on sale.

Orange Marmalade—This is found next to the jams and jelly at the grocery store. It is a key ingredient, so don’t omit it.

BBQ Sauce – I use whatever I have in my pantry or refrigerator for this recipe. However, you can use your favorite brand, and it will taste great.

Soy Sauce – This adds extra flavor to the orange marmalade and BBQ sauce and goes great with the chicken.

Cornstarch—Cornstarch thickens the sauce. I mix some in while it’s cooking and again at the end.

Red Chili Garlic Sauce – This is an optional ingredient but adds flavor and a little heat.

How To Store Leftover Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

If you have any leftovers, they will be great the next day as a meal. Allow the chicken and sauce to cool to room temperature, and then place in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 3 days. To reheat: Add some to a bowl and heat in the microwave until warm throughout, or reheat in a skillet on the stovetop. I have mixed my chicken and sauce with the leftover rice and stored it this way. This makes reheating even easier.

How To Serve Orange Chicken with BBQ Sauce

Crockpot Orange BBQ Chicken is versatile and can be served in several ways. My family prefers to eat this dish over a bed of fluffy white rice for a complete meal. White or brown rice will work. I usually pair it with a side of green beans, coleslaw, honey skillet corn, or carrots for a balanced dinner.
