Ingredients for Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe
This warm dip is an easy recipe with simple ingredients. It has the best flavor in every bite. See the printable recipe card below for a complete list of ingredients and amounts.
- Frozen Chopped Spinach – Buying frozen spinach helps this dish come together quickly and conveniently. Thaw and squeeze as much liquid out as possible. It is typically found in the freezer section at the grocery store.
- Artichoke Hearts – One can of artichoke hearts is enough for this dip and provides a slightly tangy flavor. Drain and chop before adding to the dip.
- Parmesan Cheese – Use freshly shredded parmesan cheese, not the cheese in the can. It adds a nice nutty flavor to dip and melts beautifully.
- Mozzarella Cheese -A key ingredient and provides a gooey texture. I prefer to buy a block of mozzarella cheese and shred it myself. Do what is more convenient for you; the pre-shredded will also work.
- Cream Cheese – One block of cream cheese pulls this dish together and provides a nice base.
- Sour Cream – Adds creaminess to the dish and compliments the cream cheese.
- Mayonnaise – Adds more creaminess and adds richness.
- Minced Garlic – A powerhouse of flavor in this dip. I usually buy the minced garlic in the jar for convenience.
