Pasta Salad with Feta Cheese

Feta Cheese makes this pasta salad pop. It’s soft and crumbly and goes great when added to the top of the pasta. You can’t go wrong with pasta and cheese.

What is a Greek Pasta Salad?

A traditional Green Salad consists of tomatoes, olives, cucumber, peppers, onions, and creamy feta cheese. It’s topped with a vinaigrette dressing that pulls it all together and makes it lip-smacking good.

What Type of Pasta Should I Use?

I like to use Barilla Rotini Pasta. I like that brand, but I’m sure you also have a favorite. Any pasta brand will work. A tri-color is what I use the most in my pasta salads. It adds even more color to the bowl.

Ingredients Needed for Greek Pasta Salad

Tomatoes– I like to use cherry tomatoes. They are small, bite-size, and just need a slice down the center.

Cucumbers– use a regular cucumber or an English cucumber. Slice and then quarter the pieces.

Red Bell Pepper– Green, Red, or Yellow Peppers will work for this recipe. Use your favorite or whatever you have in your refrigerator.

Onion– Dice onion– yellow, red, and white onions will work for this recipe.

Olives– any green or kalamata olive will work.

Feta Cheese– use quality feta cheese. Keep the cheese in bite-size pieces. This makes it easier to serve and eat.

Dressing– I use a bottled store-bought dressing to keep this pasta salad simple. However, there are some really great brands on the market; find one you like. Feel free to make your dressing from scratch if so desired.

Pasta– any Rotini Pasta Brand will work. Shells would work nicely as well.

My daughter makes a very similar salad for every gathering and everyone loves it! She doesn’t put feta in hers, though. I’m going to tell her to try it next time. Looks delicious!
