Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos is a super easy recipe and comes together fast for a treat or snack any time of the week. I made these as a side dish to our Creamy Pasta Bake we had last night. They were incredibly flavorful, with just a hint of spiciness.
When we go out to eat, and jalapeno poppers are on the menu, we order them. They are tasty, spicy, and so cheesy. We can’t seem to get enough of them. I’m so glad my family likes spicy as much as I do. 🙂

Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos make a perfect party appetizer or a side dish, and they are easy to make. Let’s not forget about football season and tailgating.

Only 5 Ingredients are needed to make these peppers.
20 medium jalapeno peppers
cream cheese, softened
shredded cheddar cheese
Worcestershire sauce
Bacon or Bacon Bits
Jalapenos–-The star of the show. Medium to large peppers seem to work the best for this recipe. They will hold more of the cheesy goodness in each pepper.
Cheese– Shredded cheddar cheese, Pepper Jack Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese have all been used in this recipe, and they all seem to work fine. Cheddar is used mostly in this recipe, but I do change it up a bit and add one cup of cheddar and one cup of pepper jack.
Cream Cheese–-make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before trying to mix.
Bacon– fry a few slices of bacon for this recipe or use some really good bacon bits for convenience.
How to Make Cheesy Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

**In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir in cooked bacon or bacon bits. Mix well.
***Spoon a heaping tablespoon into each jalapeno half.
****Place on a greased baking sheet and Bake at 400 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve warm.

Tips for Making Delicious Jalapeno Poppers
I have done this before but it is not necessary to do for great tasting peppers**I boiled my hot peppers for a few minutes to make them soft before I baked them. You don’t have to do this step, and they will be completely fine, but boiling them seems to take away some of the heat, and they do cook a little faster.
**When cutting hot peppers it is best to wear gloves. I keep a box of disposable gloves on hand for just this reason.
Choose peppers the same size to ensure even baking times.
Use room temperature cream cheese.
Can you Make Stuffed Jalapenos in Advance?
Yes, mix and stuff the jalapenos up to a day in advance and store in a covered container in the refrigerator—Bake before serving.
