How To Make Homemade Firecracker Popsicles
For complete instructions, see the recipe card below.
- Combine yogurt, honey, and heavy cream in a bowl. Mix well.
- Puree blueberries and strawberries.
- Layer the colors- red, white, and blue.
- Freeze.
How to Layer the Colors for the Perfect Popsicle
To get a pretty popsicle, you must layer all flavors. You’ll put a little bit of blue (blueberries), a little bit of white (vanilla yogurt mix), and a little bit of red (strawberries). Once your popsicle molds are filled, add the lid and sticks, and place them into the freezer. Let your freezer do the rest of the work for you.

Tips and Variations
- Adding honey to the yogurt/cream mixture will keep ice crystals from forming while freezing.
- To remove your popsicles from the mold, run them underwater for a few seconds, and they should “pop” right out.
- Use raspberries instead of strawberries.
- Use blackberries instead of blueberries.
- Use Greek Yogurt instead of Vanilla Yogurt.
- Place into the freezer for 6+ hours or overnight.
